RESUME/Résumé :
"The team takes on the case of a 16-year-old factory manager who fell ill when her lungs suddenly filled with fluid while at work. The teenager informs House and his team that she is an emancipated minor living on her own and supporting herself since her parents passed away. But when the team begins treatment for suspected heart problems, they find out the hard way that the girl may not be telling them the truth. Meanwhile, Foreman asks for House’s permission to work on a clinical trial and House rejects his proposal. In an effort to prove himself capable of working without House’s supervision, Foreman takes on his own pediatric case. But when the unexplained illness brings the child to the brink of death, Foreman is left questioning his ability to work free from House’s custody".

"L'équipe prend le cas d'une jeune fille de 16 ans dont les poumons se sont soudainement remplis de liquide.
La fille informe House qu'elle est mineure et vit seule depuis la mort de ses parents. Mais l'équipe découvre qu'il est possible qu'elle mente.
De son côté, Foreman demande l'autorisation de House pour se lancer dans un projet, ce qu'il n'obtient pas ; pour prouver ses capacités, il décide de prendre en charge son propre cas en pédiatrie. Mais quand l'enfant meurt, il remet alors en question ses habilités à travailler sans House..."
